Here’s all you need to know to get started!
Requirements:
- At least 18 Years of Age
- High School Diploma or GED
- No fire or EMS certifications are required
Recruit class will provide the following certifications:
- Firefighter I & II
- Hazardous Materials Ops and Awareness
- CPR (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers)
Opportunities for Emergency Medical Technician training are also available.
Applicants with previous Fire or EMS certifications are encouraged to apply and can start making runs after a short orientation (no need to wait for completion of recruit class).
Getting started is easy ..
- No prior training is required for new employees.

- Once your application is received and background checks completed, you’ll be contacted by the hiring committee.
After the interview…

- Complete our recruit class (unless already fire or EMT certified)
- Participate in our duty shift program (minimum 24 hours per month)
- Attend monthly meetings, trainings and occasional special events
